RAVENNA GARDEN

This felt like an ideal planting opportunity! The homeowner, an interior designer, had developed a brick-edged oval lawn with a small bubbling water feature at one end and a Victorian Folly at the other, complete with marble floor, leaded windows and antique chandelier. He wanted a colorful, dramatic garden that would be a showplace for his summer parties. He didn’t care what it looked like in the winter, but from the beginning of our official Seattle start of summer (July 5th) through September, he wanted it to shine. And so it does!
